Assessing Physical Function in Transplantation and CAR T Recipients

This panel-based webinar presented by the ASTCT Survivorship SIG will focus on identifying our current physical assessment tools to guide the practice of pre-HCT evaluation of physical function. It will explain how to understand the time points post-HCT and post-CAR T treatment phases where physical assessment tools can be
useful alongside clinical research. At the end of this learning activity, attendees should be able to identify tools to assess physical function in their patients and consider their use in clinical practice.

Topics to be addressed are:

  • Currently available tools available for physical function assessments
  • Use of these tools prior to, during, and after receiving HCT/ CAR T-cell therapies
  • How to identify the right tools to optimize and understand physical function knowledge gaps

Speakers:
