BMT Across the World: Who Makes What and Who Pays Whom?

Includes a Live Web Event on 12/11/2025 at 9:00 AM (CST)

Description:

In Part 1 of our joint ASTCT-EBMT webinar, we will focus on Allogeneic Bone Marrow Transplantation across the world. The clinical, logistical and administrative landscape behind BMT therapies can vary significantly across the world. Who is considered a candidate for transplantation? How are donors selected and graft procured? How do we administer both short term and long-term care for these patients? And who pays for all of this? We will also use case studies to highlight country-specific considerations with regard to donor selection and survivorship.

Learning Objectives:

1. To explore differences in how BMT is regulated, implemented, and reimbursed in various countries around the world
2. To critically appraise emerging innovations in GVHD prophylaxis, conditioning regimens and relapse prevention.
