CAR-T Therapy Across the World: Who Makes What and Who Pays Whom?

Description:

In Part 2 of our joint ASTCT-EBMT webinar, we will focus on cellular therapies such as chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy across the world. Clinical and logistical landscapes for CAR-T therapies vary widely between countries: what therapies (if any), are available, how 'academic' or 'homegrown' CAR-T therapies are used, and how reimbursement is handled. We will also use case studies to highlight country-specific considerations with regard to logistics and infectious prophylaxis.

Learning Objectives:

1. To explore differences in how CAR-T therapies are regulated, implemented, and reimbursed in various countries around the world
2. To critically appraise emerging innovations in cell therapies, including “homegrown” non-commercial CAR-T constructs
