Cord Blood Transplantation: State of the Art Practice Guidelines

This session discusses the state of the art in cord blood graft selection, conditioning, and the prophylaxis and treatment of GVHD and infections for adults and children undergoing CBT. Speakers highlight the clinical practices instituted by transplant centers to improve clinical outcomes and review the current clinical approaches in an effort to facilitate the use of cord blood as source of stem cells for transplantation. This session aired as an ASTCT Education Session during the 2021 TCT Meetings of ASTCT & CIBMTR.
