The ASTCT Pharmacy SIG September 2024 Journal Club will air on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 2 pm CST/3 pm EST.

This educational offering will focus on core topics in hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) and cellular therapy. The target audience is PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residents, but participation is open to all pharmacists or pharmacy trainees practicing or interested in transplantation and cellular therapy.

This journal club aired live on April 19, 2023, as a part of the expanded ASTCT Journal Club, and in partnership with the ASTCT Infectious Disease Special Interest Group. This webinar consisted of two, 30-minute journal club presentations, which included 20 min for presentation and 10 min for discussion/Q and A.

This joint webinar aired Wednesday, April 29, and addressed the steps CIBMTR has put in place to collect data on COVID-19 positive patients, showed details of cases reported to date, and discussed the impact of COVID-19 on data collection by CIBMTR, including impacts to the annual center specific analysis.

This town hall continued the conversation about challenges related to COVID-19. ASTCT Past President, Dr. Navneet Majhail was joined by our Infectious Disease SIG Leaders Dr. Michael Boeckh and Dr. Zenia Papanicolaou to discuss the current ASTCT patient guidelines, practices implemented by volunteers in their facilities, questions that have come up in the online community discussion forum, and a panel Q&A.
